On 5th February 2008, the SADR formally launched its Second Licensing Round, to enable international oil and gas companies to participate in the exploration of its territory during a ceremony held in Houston (Texas) that was attended by representatives from the energy sector and the media.
The Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) is pleased to announce the launch of the Second Petroleum Licensing Round, to be opened in Houston, Texas, USA on 5 February, 2008. On that date, the SADR will hold a presentation highlighting the various aspects of this Licensing Round. Attendance at the presentation will be by invitation only.
On 29 December 2007, the SADR President HE Mohamed Abdelaziz, ratified the exclusive mineral resource reconnaissance Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) signed between the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Excalibur Exploration in London in March this year.
